Notes: Apr 13th: Belle is an older girl and has to be an only pet. She is house and leash trained but would not recommend small children because she will resource guard her treats and toys.

Belle went to the vet for annual checkup. She is 73 pounds and has a little arthritis starting in her hind leg knees. She did very well with being poked and prodded and took it like a champ.

Poor Belle is still waiting for her forever home. She needs to be the only pet as she does not like other animals. She does not like them in her face or space and does not share her toys very well either. She is such a perfect dog other than needing to be the only pet. She is good on a leash, potty trained, old enough to be laid back but young enough to still take those walks and bounce around.

Cabela/Miss Belle was adopted over five years ago. Sadly both her owners passed away so she came back to rescue. The family tried to keep her but after months of trying she just did not settle in with their own dog.

Adoption Application Form
Before you can adopt one of the dogs you need to complete our Adoption Application Form. Applications must be submitted and vetting/personal references must be checked before an adoption is completed. You will not be able to adopt a puppy or dog if you do not have a verified application. Pre-approved applications have priority over new applications. Due to lack of volunteer time, we are only able to answer questions from prospective adopters that have filled out an application form.
