Notes: Met this little one today. Very happy girl and was surprised at how small she is in person. I don't think she weighs over 25 pounds (if that much).

Nellie is a smaller mixed breed who is assumed to be around 1-1.5 years old. She has quickly become a staff favorite here at the shelter, and she would love to become your new favorite furry friend! We do believe that she would be best suited for someone who is either retired or someone who can spend a majority of their time with her. She has shown that she can be a bit anxious and prefers having some company. Even with her anxiety, she is the most outgoing dog we have had here in a while. She absolutely loves everyone she meets - humans, dogs, cats, you name it! We nicknamed her "Miss Princess" because she loves to be carried around like a baby and prances around outside like she is NC's most prized show dog. She has a big personality, and we cannot get enough of it.

Adoption fee is $55 which includes the rabies vaccine. You will receive a $50 spay/neuter voucher to be used at one of the local veterinarians. Please help save a life!
