Notes: Cara is a blind Miniature Pinscher. She is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and has type 2 diabetes. Her blindness could have been prevented with insulin costing $0.50 a day for her dosage. Walmart and Sam's Club both sell Novolin N for $24.88 per vial. Each vial has a 100 doses for little Cara. Cara is very sweet, loving, is house and leash trained. From an emaciated, frightened dog to a plump, playful little girl. Cara has adjusted to her blindness (she can distinguish light and dark) and her diabetes is in control so no pain and diarrhea from pancreatitis. She has mentally mapped the house and property and gets around well. Her favorite game is tug o' war. Socks are her tug toy of choice, which she will get out of the basket and bring to you. If you would like to give Cara a forever home, please fill out an adoption application form - see the link below.
