This dog is listed as URGENT on the Friends of Halifax County, NC Animal Control facebook page. We urgently need money to the treat this dog so that it can go to a new home! Kennel space is limited. Please find a rescue/person that can move it to a safe place. Adoption Application Form
Before you can adopt one of the dogs you need to complete our Adoption Application Form. Applications must be submitted and vetting/personal references must be checked before an adoption is completed. You will not be able to adopt a puppy or dog on the day of your visit if you do not have a verified application. Pre-approved applications have priority over new applications. Due to lack of volunteer time, we are only able to answer questions from prospective adopters that have filled out an application form.

Rainbow Animal Rescue has foster homes in the area of Roanoke Rapids and a kennel facility in Halifax, North Carolina. We welcome volunteers to foster dogs and help at the kennels.
